Admission Requirements

Applicants are required to have a bachelor's degree from an approved college or university to enter the program.



For Michigan residents & MCU students and graduates only: around USD$590 per credit hour

For Out-of-state and international applicants: around USD$1100 per credit hour


Application Materials and Deadlines

The application deadline for fall term is mid-June. All required materials must be received before an application will be reviewed. If the original language of the academic record and diploma is not English, a certified English translation must accompany the original document.


The IMBA application consists of several items. A list of application materials is as follows:


For U.S. Residents/Citizens and Non-U.S. Residents/Citizens:

1. A completed application form

2. In English, a One-page Statement of Accomplishments and academic goals

3. A current resume

4. A photocopy of the highest degree/diploma

 * Certificate of enrollment is required if applicant is currently studying in the last school semester

5. In sealed envelopes, an official copy of all undergraduate and graduate transcripts from any college or university where college credit was earned

 * If an applicant is studying in the last semester of school, required documents should be verified after  graduation

6. Two letters of recommendation in sealed envelopes

7. The non-refundable USD$90.00 application fee

1.   8. Results of the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) or the admission test given by the College of Business and Management

The following formula is used to determine minimum admission requirements to the M. B. A. program:

GPA* x 200+ GMAT ≥1050 and GMAT ≥450


Additional Requirements for Non-U.S. Residents/Citizens:

1. A copy of the passport

2. Evidence of Financial Support (original document)

3. A photocopy of the score report of English Language proficiency: TOEFL IBT 79 or IELTS 6.5 (English native speakers are waived)


Note: Records not issued in English must be accompanied by an English translation that is certified by an appropriate school official, official translator, or US embassy or consulate official
